Lead with Heart — Manager RN, Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)
Join The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, Houston’s first and foremost hospital dedicated exclusively to women’s health. We deliver over 800 babies each month, care for the region’s most complex cases in our Level IV NICU, and empower women’s health across every stage of life — from maternity to minimally invasive surgery.
As Manager RN – Labor and Delivery (Nights), you’ll guide a team that brings new life into the world every night. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll ensure high standards of care, mentor nurses for clinical excellence, and collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize patient outcomes and departmental performance.
What You’ll Do:
--Oversee patient care delivery within the L&D unit and lead a team of compassionate nurses.
--Promote quality improvement and professional development.
--Partner with physicians, staff, and administrators to enhance workflows and patient satisfaction.
--Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and advocate for your nursing team.
Schedule: Nights (11 PM – 7 AM), five days a week (may include weekends).
Qualifications:
--3–5 years recent acute care L&D leadership experience (Manager or Charge Nurse level).
--Current Texas RN license (or compact license eligible).
--BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications (some within 6 months of hire).
--Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
💰 Salary: $45–$58/hr (based on experience)
